Overview

Abraxas Replicator is a cross database data transferring tool. Our clients are using it for:

• data transfer from operative databases to data storage,
• data transfer between dislocated units and head office (data transfer between head office and branch offices in tourism branch),
• integrating into their own solutions: using Abraxas Replicator software libraries or executable application,
• data transfer between internet and client-server applications (practical example: data transfer between online registration software and festival offices as it is implemented in Abraxas Congress Tourism software)
• other specific data transfers, such as: in the field of banking the client data is transferred from the CRM system into local data warehouse during the night; in the field of CRM the data is copied from the local branches into central data warehouse.

Features:

• Abraxas Replicator transfers data between any databases: transfer can be accomplished from MS SQL into Oracle and inversely.
• Data transfer of compacted data. Transferring efficient amount of data is important in places, where internet connection is not optimal. Such optimal transfer may lower the required bandwidth and its related costs as it can work over slower networks.
• Data transfer retries. This option is appropriate for situations in which you are facing with an insufficient network connection caused by frequent interruptions. Abraxas Replicator transfers data changes in separate packages, using multiple retries until all changes of the data are successfully transferred.
• Data transfer thru network port 80. Undisturbed data transfer is assured in all environments and without any additional settings of the network infrastructure.
• Multiple operational modes: Publish, Subscribe, Transfer, Copy, and Spy.
• SPY mode. When in spy mode Abraxas Replicator will monitor log files during data transfer and send relevant notes to the administrator, such as: incorrect transfer notification, interruption reports.
• Use tested solution. Our clients use Abraxas Replicator for ten years, and it has proved as highly reliable application.
• Database independency. Data is transferred regardless of its content.

Characteristics:

• Long distances data transfer.  Abraxas Replicator writes data in a compact files and sends it to other locations.
• Local network transfer. Data can be transferred directly into the final database.
• Defragmenting databases. Abraxas Replicator can create new database based on the underlying fragmented database and data transfer. The new database is not fragmented.
